Fishing Classes for 2024 Have Concluded for the Year

 Our last Free Fishing Classes  for 2024 was held Sunday August 25, 2024. Bob Massa, our current instructor continued to teach his classes this summer and 95 anglers passed thru our 2024 classes. We are already looking forward to 2025 and hope you can come enjoy a Sunday evening one hour clinic with Bob and learn to fish on LBI.

Here is what some of the 95 anglers who attended our Free Classes in 2024 have said:

Reservations are not needed and the location will be right at Surf City Bait and Tackle in the parking lot on the 4th street side. Just show up -- you may want to bring (we highly recommend this as we have limited bench seating) your own chair and a cold drink for comfort. Our classes will be taught by local, experienced fishermen and women. Topics vary but will include how to fish on LBI from shore, boat, inlet, bay and ocean. 

Children are totally welcome but must be supervised and not disruptive.

Instructors will provide information to help you have fun fishing on LBI. No experience is required and even if you are an experienced angler there is always something to learn. Those attending the class get a 10% discount on most store items (for the evening after the class only) Classes are tailored to the groups variety of fishing experience, whether beginner or not.
